There was an incident this afternoon at JBE involving a threat made that a student was going to bring a gun to school. This was addressed by our administration and school SRO's immediately. At no time was any student or staff member in danger. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority and we will take appropriate school disciplinary and legal action. Today, we were also honored to have a special guest from the Star City Fire Department, Mr. David Rich. Mr. Rich gave an informative presentation to our students on fire safety. He stressed the importance of not hiding during a fire and explained how water is delivered from a fire truck. He also discussed the different components of a firefighter's uniform and the various parts of a fire truck. We are extremely grateful to Mr. Rich and the Star City Fire Department for their valuable contribution to our ABC students' education. #Bethebest
