ABC Parents,
Concerning the COVID-19 situation with our ABC Program: Due to the shortage of available staff and substitutes our ABC program must close Monday, September 28 through Thursday, October 1. The District has followed the ADH protocols to identify all Probable Close Contacts. Those who met the criteria as a Probable Close Contact have been contacted and are under quarantine.
If additional days of closure are necessary or any other adjustments need to be made we will notify parents. Star City School District will continue to work with the Arkansas Department of Health and Arkansas Department of Education and follow their protocols as directed. We have mailed student work to your home and our staff will be reaching out to make contact with you in the coming days, for support. We appreciate the work and cooperation of our staff and parents during this situation.
Again, if you have not been contacted your child is not considered a Probable Close Contact. This does not affect any other buildings in the District at this time. Please monitor our website and social media for updates as they become available.
