Coach Jeff Wilkerson began his teaching/coaching career at Star City in 1980. He coached basketball, track, and football and taught history for 30 years for the Star City School District. He was well-known for his bus driving skills and ability to “run” a concession stand. His story-telling and ability to make students laugh will be what is forever remembered for thousands of students that were blessed
enough to have had him in their lives. He truly lived for his personal family, as well as, his school family. He will richly be rewarded for the job he did on this earth and we know he was singing the loudest as he departed his earthly home. We will miss him tremendously and would like to send our deepest sympathies to his family at this time. Jeff was a true Bulldog and Ladydog!
