Star City School District Daily Events 2/24/21

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that gifts free books to children from birth to age five in participating communities. We encourage parent/guardians in Lincoln County to sign up their eligible children! Forms are available online or at JBE.

SCSD will re-open to on-site instruction tomorrow, Wednesday, February 24th. We will operate on a normal schedule. Bus M students on Blair Rd. and Burling Rd. will need to meet the bus at Hwy 425 for pickup, until further notice. We are excited to see our students! #BeTheBest

Star City School District Daily Events 2/23/21

Bulldogs finish their season with a tough loss at Watson Chapel 81-54.
The benefit baseball game scheduled for Tuesday at White Hall has been rescheduled for Thursday at 5:00.
Due to continued hazardous road conditions throughout our area the Star City School District will be closed Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Students will remain off-site for instruction. Any students unable to complete work will be able to do so when they return. #BeTheBest

Our regularly scheduled February Board Meeting for tonight has been rescheduled, for Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 6:00pm. #BeTheBest
Basketball News:
Fans traveling to Watson Chapel today for the Bulldogs basketball district quarterfinals game: There is no water at the Watson Chapel gym. Bathrooms will be closed and portable bathrooms will be available. Game time is 5:00. #Bethebest
The parents meeting for parents of students trying out for cheer has been rescheduled for March 1st at 5:30 in the high school auditorium. #Bethebest
